Ethereum for business

Accept digital dollar payments, invoice customers abroad, and pay suppliers or contractors using tools that connect to Ethereum.

You do not need to accept ETH or become a crypto expert. Depending on the service you use, your business can receive stablecoins or automatically settle payments into traditional currency.

What can Ethereum do for your business?

For most businesses, Ethereum works more like underlying payment infrastructure than an app you interact with directly.

Accept customer payments

Let customers pay with stablecoins that are yours within minutes, with no chargebacks, or receive your local currency through supported payment providers.

Pay suppliers globally

Send payments to suppliers and business partners across borders without waiting for banking hours or intermediary banks.

Payroll

Make fast payouts to remote employees, freelancers, creators, and contractors wherever they are.

Sell online

Add wallet-based payments to e-commerce, digital products, subscriptions, and other internet services.

Customers want to use crypto for everyday purchases

Crypto payments are moving beyond trading. US crypto holders increasingly want to use digital assets in the same places they already spend money every week.[1]

Get paid like cash, without the cash drawer

A stablecoin payment to your own Ethereum account works like cash in hand. Once payment arrives, it's yours.

Final in seconds to minutes

Card payments can be clawed back through a chargeback long after the sale. Once a stablecoin payment is confirmed, nobody can reverse it. This occurs within seconds on layer 2 networks and a few minutes on Ethereum Mainnet.

Keep more of every sale

No card processor takes a cut. You can charge customers less than you would for a card payment and still take home more.

Flat fees, whatever the amount

Ethereum network fees are charged per transaction, not as a percentage of the amount. Sending a whole day's sales to a secure vault account costs the same as a small payment, from a fraction of a cent to a few cents.

Nothing in the cash register to steal

Payments go to an account whose keys never need to be kept at the store. Smart accounts can set spending limits and require more than one approval, so staff can issue a refund without being able to move the whole balance.

Cards, cash, and stablecoins

Stablecoins offer the finality of cash with the reach of a card. Card customers can dispute a payment for 120 days after a sale, and up to 540 days in some cases[2]. US merchants paid more than $187 billion in card processing fees in 2024[3].

* Illustrative only. Assumes a card rate of 2.9% + $0.30, common for small businesses[4]. On Ethereum the sender pays the network fee (a fraction of a cent to a few cents), so the full payment arrives.

Want an edge over competitors? Offer a discount for paying in stablecoins. If accepting cards costs you 2.9%, offering a 2% discount for paying in stablecoins nets you more while charging your customers less.

Payments to one reused address are visible onchain to anyone, competitors included. Stealth addresses give each customer a fresh address that only you can link back to your account.

Accept global digital payments

Stablecoins on Ethereum can let businesses accept payments from customers around the world, without requiring customers and merchants to share the same banking system.

Global crypto adoption is on the rise

The opportunity for organizations is increasingly about payments, commerce, and financial infrastructure rather than speculation.[5]
